About CMF
The Canada Media Fund (CMF) fosters, develops, finances and promotes the production of Canadian content and applications for all audiovisual media platforms. The CMF receives financial contributions from the Government of Canada and Canada’s cable, satellite and IPTV distributors.

The CMF contributed $365.5M to Canadian television and digital media projects in 2014-2015.
Experimental Stream
108108 innovative projects were selected, and received $38.6 million in funding.
Convergent Stream
505505 convergent productions received $311.3M in funding, generating 2,800 hours of new content.
Production Activity
